Is it just me or do you find yourself constantly thinking/dreaming of sewing, matching fabric to patterns and patterns to fabric and then changing it up and starting all over again.
I'll start thinking about something I want to make and roll it over and over in my mind so that by the time I get to my sewing room I can just whip it out. My best mental sewing is done in the car. We live 20 miles from most things we want to do so I get a good amount of time for "car sewing."
All. the. time. Especially in boring staff meetings. ;)
ReplyDeleteYes! Sometimes it keeps me from being able to fall asleep at night... Glad I'm not the only one...
ReplyDeleteNo, Kelly, it's definitely not just you. I'm always doing that. I wake up in the night doing that! But I really enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteAgain, No - it's not just you sister. A lot of have this delightful disease.
ReplyDeleteI sew in my mind, when I'm awake and when I'm asleep. Humm--that must mean something and I bet you have the answer!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Amber. In boring meetings, I scribble sewing notes. I mentally try to coordinate fabrics and patterns with embellishment techniques.

ReplyDeleteOMG I think about sewing waayyy too much. Especially when I'm lying in bed trying to sleep. I'm always thinking of the next project...
ReplyDeleteI spent a lot of my vacation daydreaming about sewing. What fun!
ReplyDeleteI spend a lot of time daydreaming about pairing fabric to pattern, even to the extent of pulling out the fabric and pattern, only to put it all back.
ReplyDeleteYes!! All the time. If I'm not sitting at my machine, chances are I have sewing on the brain!
